Another shooting at Ft Hood

This is a horrible situation for those who were unable to defend themselves. Once again, we see that these gunmen choose gun free zones for a reason. When they are met with an armed response, almost all of them turn the gun on themselves, because they aren't at the advantage anymore.

This was my thought exactly. They trust us with weapons, loaded, 24/7 downrange... But back home? Where we should have expect damn near absolute safety? Oh better not... Stupid I tell you. I just don't understand that DOD policy.

It is really a sad commentary on society today that this has to be the wise and prudent choice that you both made.

More and more I'm convinced that the ONLY policy solution to mass shooters is to relax laws/regs related to the carrying of guns and get MORE guns out there "on the streets", in the hands of good guys.

I brought the idea up to the command chief on base of being able to carry as long as you have a CCW. it would be 1. hard to keep track of people, 2. add more guns on base so if there were an active shooter - you possibly become a wrongful target. 3. Political Bullshit says no [Rant1]

Why is it that the perpetrators in all of these shootings are under the influence of "selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors" or SSRI scheduled psychotropic drugs commonly known as anti-depresents and/or sleep aides?

While MSM propaganda and gun grabbers use it to push their agenda and shift the blame onto the 2nd Amendment with an out cry for more restrictions on firearms and firearms owners. When will big pharma and their mind altering chemicals that doctors hand out to people like candy, ever be called into question?.....
