We just got back from a driving trip to Minnesota, and had to drive through Poobraska. We took great pains to avoid being pulled over/profiled: took down anything hanging from the mirror, ensured nothing was blocking the windows, used the cruise control set to 1/2 mile under the speed limit, etc. Thankfully, there was no trouble with the cops, but the %$$##@@!# truckers were REAL assholes. While driving through a road construction zone (55 mph, fines doubled for speeding) I had a big rig crawl up my butt to the point that my entire back window was filled with grill. No way was I going to get a speeding ticket, so I slowed down to 52 MPH and he finally backed off. I will confess to being white-knuckled until he backed off a bit.
I'll tell you where we get pulled over EVERY time- that'd be Iowa. Our widow tinting is dark, and the cornfed troopers are bored, bored, bored.
lol! I made it through Nebraska and Iowa averaging 74 mph, and that includes gas and food stops.
