She's a troll. And while she's ignorant about guns (and probably life in general) engaging in counter-trolling is something that takes some measure of skill.

Just when I'm certain she's plateaued, she really does achieve a whole new level of stupid.

Her problem, like anyone else that has seized upon and accepted an incorrect notion with guns, is that she is not only completely sold on her peers' "facts" but is now stubbornly invested. She has followers. That is a social media responsibility. To her way of thinking, she has the strength of numbers behind her. It's a logical fallacy- but logic has a very small place in social media, where emotion is king. If she goes back on what she has posted, she loses credibility with her followers. She lives in California. She would lose credibility with her colleagues, certainly.

What a very small and insecure world these people must exist in, that their self-esteem lives and dies by what other people think.
