Cane Corsos are wonderful guard dogs, but they lean toward suspicion of strangers (which, duh, is what you WANT with guard dogs) and may cause some "OMG IT'S A GIANT PIT BULL!" from the alarmists. If you're in a city that bans certain breeds, be aware of this.

They are f***ing frightening when they get riled up!!! Yes those who have become pussified beyond repair will raise hell over one of them...so unfortunate

I have found that all the dogs you mentioned to be friendly lovable dogs when not breed to kill. Like everyone has said I will know the dog when I see it. Missed out on a 6 month old rotty mix by 30 minutes. Spent an hour with the dog. Loved him. Had to be some where so I said I would come back later. They adopted him to someone else not 30 minutes after I left. He was such a happy playful puppy. Hope he went to a good home
