Aside from electronic wizardry. One thing that sounds me is trying to run cable thru walls etc from outside cameras and heck even inside.

Blue Iris rocks. Works very well.

There has to be a chase through to the attic somewhere. Cold air intake or exhaust from water heater etc. Mine all go up into the attic and are mounted to the Gables and Eaves. Ethernet cameras are the best way to go if you can.
