I had a science teacher that told us one day that he would tell us the truth then teach us the popular theory. We could believe whichever we wanted.
He said the truth was that there was no such thing as gravity. We stay down because the whole world sucks. He then spent the rest of the week teaching the popular theory of gravity.
The funny thing is I don't remember any of the popular theory.
This reminded me of "dark sucker" theory....there is no such thing as light, just the absence (or partial absence) of dark... bulbs are actually dark suckers that send the dark to the power company. When they quit working, you can usually see the bulb has some dark stuck in it after they fail.
The Sun is the biggest dark sucker is our solar system... other stars that have sucked up all the dark that they can will explode and turn into black holes... because of the massive amounts of dark they have sucked.
