I think the budget for the project it around 1.5 billion. I dont know if that includes all the money being spent to widen c 470 and e 470 is included in that. The plan is to send I70 traffick around that way. Who knows if you will habe to pay tolls or not. Who knows what they will do for people on westbound who want to go 25 north 270 cant handle it that is for sure.
The plan is to add an additional lane to I70 but it will be a toll lane. So far the toll lanes on 25 and the ones on 36 have not done anything much to help with traffic levels because they make the tolls too expensive at heavy traffic times. The state doesnt even get ant money from the tolls, the sold the roghts to the road to an out of country company.
They are hoping this park will drive up property values on the land to the north and push all the "undesireables" there out and make more people from the fancy states want to move in.
Considering how bad the roads are in this state they could patch this up for another ten years of use and be able to complete a few other serious projects with the money.
