That's sad to hear. I too was unaware he had cancer so this news comes as a bit of a surprise.
I always respected his strength in his convictions. Regardless of if we saw eye to eye (sometimes we didn't agree, many times we did) I could really appreciate a man who's willing to voice his opinion in such an unwavering way. He truly was what I celebrate about this country and it's melting pot of ideas and people. People like him are what keep us diverse of spirit & I celebrate the person willing to upset the turnip cart for History doesn't remember the meek.
Fuck cancer!
My thoughts are with his family during this time as I know what the aftermath of that terrible disease feels like.
