Just another Bullshit terrosist that was let in because We have to be non profileing SOB's..
face it they all hate us and they will be your friend as long as they can get more peeps to fall for their shit and then try to kill as many as they can before they pull the plug on themselves so they can go get their reward.
And tonite the stupid media was going for the HE BOUGHT THE GUN LEGALLY, and blah blah it could hold up too 20 rounds with a after market magazine. Where do these things come from blah blah....
[quote=ryanek9freak;140639]This is BULLSHIT. I totally dissagree that his religion didn't come into play as a reason for all of this. When the hell is this country going to wake the fuck up and start looking at Islam in the same light as being a KKK member? We are a nation of religious tolerance, but why should we be tolerant of an intolerant religious ideology, who's main objective is to want dead all of us westerners just because of who we are and how we live our day to day lives?!
To hell with all of the camel jockey rag head SOB's. I say we start rounding them up in concentration camps just like we did with the japanese in WWII. It's time to put the shoe on the other foot and stop worrying about what's politically correct, only to ignore our own saftey.
THese people want us DEAD! Do you get that? ANd this guy was an AMerican citizen!!
Yep. +1
I have observed that in modern times people who belong to vastly different religions are able to live peacefully, side by side, for the most part. With the exception of Islam, that is...
Think about it..
When was the last time a fundamentalist Bhuddist group beheaded a journalist?
What about the last time the Mormons hijacked an airliner?
How about the radical Baptist who killed his daughter for being too "western"?
Oh yes, lets not forget the extremist Jews who came over here on student visas and then crashed airplanes into the WTC..
Oh wait, these atrocities weren't comitted by Bhuddists, Mormons, Baptists, or Jews. They were committed by Muslims!
These people hate us. They hate everything we stand for. Our core values are diametrically opposed to the core tennets of their religion. Islam is not now and never will be content to exist peacefully among the rest of us.
We're too damn concerned about being politically correct and not hurting anyone's feelings to openly and honestly confront this situation..
I'm tired of being told Islam is a religion of peace. I call Bullshit!!!
Maybe I'm just a blue collar Joe, but I call it how I see it....
[Bang]
What the hell do you guys know about the Islamic religion? Obviously nothing.
Seriously, do you just spew stupid hate all the time or is today a special occasion?
How about the dozen Muslims I spent time with in the middle east fighting NEXT to? Men and women that I would have died for and would have willingly died for me?
You go and try to round them up for concentration camps. I'll be there.
While you're ponder that, start looking up all those non-violent religions you are all talking about. Start looking for how many times someone from them killed in the name of their religion. NONE of the ones you mentioned are untainted. Not one. I find it also ironic that you left Christiananity out of your list... Christians practically committed genocide in the middle east, in god's name non the less, a little over a thousand years ago.
Short of new evidence showing he was affiliated with and conspiring with a terrorist organization, there is no evidence that this shooting was nothing more than mentally ill man who happened to be a Muslim. Even if it's proven he committed these murders based on terrorist motives, it doesn't reflect one iota on all Muslims. After all, I don't hold it against the rest of the members of this blog site that a few of the members advocate committing the systematic enprisonment of an entire sect of US citizens.
Says the man who has no dead loved ones from a crazy shooter at Ft. Hood. Poster above me is 100% correct. Oh and FYI, because this is the great United States of America, I have the right to be intolerant of a secular group of people who hate western values. I'm just giving them back what they project. I don't trust them and never will.
Christians have killed more in the name of religion,, but muslims are now the new Christians.
Religion is a vessel. I suppose none of you guys will ever trust an FN firearm again because it killed people?
No one is asking anyone to tolerate criminals and terrorists, but people's beliefs are not black and white.
With that said, if there was ever a case of "if you don't like it here, move some where else" this is it. I'm not talking about you guys raging over Islam, I'm talking about people who hold beliefs that can never simultaneously exist with the main stream beliefs in this country.
Personally, I think one of two scenarios occurred here:
1) Hasan was just a mentally unstable whack-job that snapped. The religious utterings are simply a side-note.
2) His twisted concept of his faith coupled with his fear of going to a war zone where his fellow soldiers were engaged against others of his faith, compelled him to do this. If that's considered terrorism, so be it. At this point I'm skeptical his actions were part of some broader, al-Queda type terrorist act. I think he most likely acted alone, again based on his twisted concept of Islam.
I certainly don't condemn the entire faith because of his actions or the actions of other radicals who have hijacked Islam.
That's no different than saying all Blacks are bad because many of them belong to gangs and subscribe to the gang mentality. Or Hispanics. Or White people.
Muslims account for about 22% to 24% (about 1.6 billion people) of the world's population. If they were all terrorists, and if they all wanted us dead, we'd have a real problem.
Good post.
A possible third scenario would be a combination of one and two.
I posted this previously, but we've seen this problem in the military before. Buttons, conflicted between his job/duty as an A-10 pilot and his Mormon faith flew his plane into the side of a mountain in Eagle County, CO. No warning signs, never even hinted to those close to him the inner conflict was at the point of homocide/suicide.
These are not faith based crimes. These are crimes committed by those with inner turmoil drastic enough to cause a mental break.
