Not sure there are any tennis fans here, but I predict that Serena Williams is the next try and capitalize on bad behavior and poor sportsmanship by claiming it was “standing up for something”. I’ve always disliked her greatly, but her buffoonery in the US Open championship match really showed her true colors. Move over, Kaepernick.

Serena lost to another woman because she destroyed her racket and mouthed off to the umpire. I'm still trying to figure out how this is sexist in a single sex tournament. IIRC, McEnroe also forfeited at least one tournament for acting like a baby and if the issue is that male stars were getting away with it, then answer is to crack down on them too, NOT to let someone get away with acting like a total turd just because s/he is a "star".
