could have been the Taurus Raging Judge 28ga (if made in Brazil, would be imported, and by any measurement is legally a DD)
The ATF reportedly visited Taurus to inform them... this could all have started from a flippant remark by an agent, frustrated because Taurus apparently doesn't have lawyers smart enough to understand the DD definition...
Or it could be a ATF agent that doesn't understand how regulations and laws have been enforced in the past. You can't assume the ATF is correct given their history of inconsistent actions and flip-flops in the past.Quote:

I think those actually serve a purpose for them- it allows them to throw a "ban stick" at AP ammo... nothing illegal about AP rounds for rifles... but if someone makes a pistol in the caliber, then they have laws on the books to ban...
