Not directly you don't, that would be a conflict of intertest. But if you don't think that when your agency adds money to the General Fund through tickets it won't help your agency see a bigger piece of the budget pie next year you are very nieve.

I live in Jefferson County. I drive a fast vehicle. I have a hard problem conforming to traffic regulations at times, myself. (That's why I don't write speeding tickets, or tint tickets, or no front plate tickets)

I haven't had a ticket in over 10 years.

I haven't been pulled over in I don't know how long. I drive through Morrison weekly. I go to eat there all the time. I go up to Bandi every season regularly. I drive a 400+ horsepower car up there (and everywhere else) and never seem to have problems.

What are you doing wrong?

this^ . im not a leo and have no plans to become one (ok i do think about forest cop , go figure) . i just never had a good reason to go over the speed limit .
1 i never have extra money for tickets and never will
2 i dont need the added stress of worrying about getting pulled over
3 and most important its frikin dangerous

I think I've been pulled over by you. lol. [Beer] I have been pulled over by some REALLY cool cops in Jeffco. To say I got lucky a couple of times would be an understatement.

I got pulled over last week on I-25 at 58th 72mph in a 55 (and not wearing a seatbelt). CSP that pulled me over was actually a pretty good guy....very professional

Nobody likes to get a ticket....Nobody! I look at it this way, I drive about 50,000 miles a year, most of those are spent above the posted limit. If I get caught every few years I figure I'm still ahead.

What I do have issue with is a $72.00 ticket for not wearing my seatbelt. $72.00 seems excessive to me

On the way home tonight I saw 2 CSP standing on the 70th ave bridge above I-25 just watching the standstill traffic below. It seemed odd.
