If you haven't read it yet, here are the basics. Jake is a science genius, he was shot in the hip in HS but was running the next day and the bullet is still in him, he got top rank recommendations to get into the Naval Academy even though he didn't even know what the Seals were, he picked the Navy because it had nicer buildings than the Army, he took 6 months to get his Seal qualification when most take 18, he was a Seal but gave that up, he made 6 figures but gave that up, he got a coaching job by just sitting on the sidelines during practice and following the coaches around, he is an artist, and he has

The SEAL program takes in 1000 applicants including enlisted and graduates between 200-250. That is 0.00007711% of the pop. of that small number 15% are officers. That would be 0.000011567% of the population.

I disagree, if your out you should stay out. If someone quits because they cannot or will not face you then you should not be penalized for that persons punk out by bringing back someone whom was already eliminated. I think the other guy got shafted on that one. Just keep goin, either skip it and move along as it does not change the amount of contestants, or re-nominate the next closest guy. just my 2 cents, YMMV.

So you're saying that if someone accomplishes something difficult once they can NEVER be criticized again?

Sorry that don't hold water ... the man pussed out, pure and simple. I don't care if he took out the Iraqi Republican Guard single handedly and cured cancer the following weekend ... after acting like a baby on several occasions he quit when he was going to have to face the music and THAT is pussy behavior.

Honestly of all the special ops guys I've known over the years (and I've known a handful), they would be quicker to call Jake a pussy than I did.

Hell, my dad did two tours of Viet Nam as Airborne ... if he saw me quit like that he'd give me **** for it for years (even if I had made it through SEAL school).

that Jake guy was a d bag! I just got done watching the last episode on top shot who quits really.... pisses me off he was even there! glad to see they brought Mike back however i also kind of wish he would have just punched Jake in the face when they squared off a few episodes ago [ROFL2]
