Breastfeeding In Uniform

Ok, I guess this is what I get... I understand that they are technically in violation of uniform policy correct? If you can't even have your hands in your pockets and all that jazz, then having your shirt wide open exposing your chest has to be some kind of no no. If that is the arguement, I get it. But if the arguement is something like, it is wrong to be breast feeding in public, especially in uniform (nothing to do with military dress code) because you think the uniform is some holy garment, and you just find it disguisting or disgraceful to breast feed in uniform, get over it and grow up.

I think most of the outrage from the guys is due to the blatent double standard that we see when it comes to women in the military. These photos are obviously a couple of attention whoring women who are using their uniform to promote their pet project. Guys who do that get seriously disciplined. These women? Bet money nothing happens to them. Women in the military are held to a different uniform standard, pt standard, personal conduct standard and the list goes on. This is just a great shining example of how special they are.

So it's kinda like real life then? I'm not in the military but I got called into the office and talked to to having a fish hook on my hat. Uniform policy blah blah blah, but it's cool if the chicks wear 17 earrings in their ear making it look like a bass lure.

Yes because in real life I can get shot because you dropped the ball do to the relaxed standards you get to keep.

Your right, the military is not a life or death job.

ill agree with tmleadr03 that a rigorous standard should be upheld but at the same time breastfeeding is a function of life like pooping ect. i personally think its just fine as long as its in an area for such an activity on base . out in public on the other hand or off base in uniform a big no no
