Jesus, just added a new one to the list

Mine has typically been drowning but a horrific accident (car crash or whatnot) where you are still alive and just bleeding out in the middle of nowhere is up there too

I didn't pop an artery, but I was bleeding pretty bad. You just kinda get tired and cold.

Alone. On an internet forum.

Slow suffocation... bad juju, very painful without reaching the threshold. Victim is aware of everything until the last moment.

Oh hell yes, something you can't fight (like what we're nearing with our government) would suck. And I have a deep rooted fear of bugs, so anything like that would be very bad for any on-lookers, I'd be screaming like Daniel Stern was in Home Alone when the tarantula was on his face.

My last boss used to always say he wanted to die from a gun shot to the back of the head from a jealous husband.
