Might be done ordering stuff from Palmetto State Armory

September 30th. Still haven't seen the parts that were missing from my parts kit.

Did you go get another LPK to finish the lower yet?

I would be placing another call to them and voicing a little more anger concerning it. Did the upper show up at least? I didn't see where you got it in.

Since all that was missing was the fire control parts, I went down to Bowers and picked up an ALG Combat Trigger.

The upper did show up last Monday. Took right at three weeks from order to arrival. Not bad. Appears to be OK and just as ordered.

All I lack now is a BCG and a charging handle. I'll either order those two items from BCM or maybe just run down to Bowers and pick them up.

You looking for anything fancy for a charging handle? I gots a spare basic, in fact several and I owe you one, its yours if you want it. Let me know. I could drop it off after work one day or drop it to you on a friday if you off.

A stock charging handle will be just fine for this build.

While I don't feel you really "owe" me anything, I'd be happy to take it off your hands to clear your conscience. [Coffee]

I have had no direct contact with PSA, but one of my former employees worked for PSA for a few months right after he got out of the Marines, and he said that he would never buy anything from PSA based on seeing how they operate. (Once again this is just hear-say as I personally have not dealt with PSA, but I trust what my friend/former employee says.)

October 4th and still haven't seen the parts that were missing from my August 25th order.

If they do ever show up, I will update this thread when they arrive.

Well I received my order yesterday and it was missing parts. I ordered a Magpul ACS-L lower parts build kit which should have included the stock, moe grip, moe trigger guard, LPK, buffer, buffer spring, buffer tube, nut, and end plate. I was missing the end plate, buffer, nut and some parts in the LPK! I called them and the guy apoligized and send they would send me all the parts out including a new LPK. He said it would take 3-5 days before I see them.

I saved some money (about $100) by ordering it from them. It took about 7 days to ship and another 5 days to get to my house and ontop of it it was missing parts. YMMV.


EDIT: I just called them to get a tracking number on my missing parts. The guy told me that the "credit" has to be sent to their supervisor, approved then they will send me out the parts once approved. He said a shipping label might be created today and if not it will be on Monday. I will probably be calling on Monday afternoon or Tuesday to see what the status is.

Customers shouldn't have to do this much work... When you buy from them, you are purchases physical goods, but you are also purchasing a service: reliable delivery on their end of the purchase agreement... I guess now we know what to expect in the future. I sure hope they outgrow this and make it right.

Sorry to hear that. I still haven't seen my missing parts yet from my order back in August. Hopefully yours will arrive shortly.
