My condolences to Buckaroobonsai, the department and his family. I'm heading out in a few to lower the flag here at home.
I'm so sorry. It happened 5 blocks from my house. My wife finished her shift this morning, and took flowers to the officers on scene. She's a paramedic, and went to pay her respects and give her condolences. The officer manning the perimeter actually ended up giving her a hug to comfort her. There just are no words.
