Walmart Threads Merge

I have been a proud Walmart shopper for years. Currently, I buy almost all of my groceries from Walmart and Sam's, as well as the majority of my household products. I spend $5-7k annually at Walmart, plus another $500 in ammunition. Last year, I bought a rifle at Walmart, and was planning to buy another this year.


It is my understanding that Walmart has stopped ordering ammunition to stock its stores. Given how popular this item is, and in general what a high-performing product segment firearms and ammunition have been for Walmart in recent years, it is hard to see this as anything but a capitulation to political pressure.


Across the country, firearm owners have been voting with their wallets against those who are proposing further restriction on firearm ownership. Will Walmart support its customers? Or will it allow politicians to win in back-room deals without even bringing their issues to the legislature?


How well do you know your customers? There are a lot of people in the USA who wouldn't be caught dead shopping at Walmart. Those are the people who are pushing for new restrictions on firearms and ammunition. WIll you support those people at the expense of your customers, or will you stand up for the people who put cash in your registers?


Choose wisely, and choose quickly. There are 80+ million gun owners in America, and a lot of them are Walmart shoppers... or at least they were, before you forgot who paid the bills.

I have already called BS on this in a different post.. Again my wife is 20 yr vet Asst Mngr at Walmart. She said they just ordered OVER 5K in ammo TODAY!!! All this is just more WalMart hate crap... Got any Walmart questions or want me to find out.. just PM me I will get the TRUTH not this bullshit!!

I have responded to almost all the Wal-Mart hate posts but thought I would start one too...

My wife is an Assistant Store Manager and has worked for Wal-Mart for 20 years.

The Ammo issue...
They HAVE NOT stopped ordering ammo. They are having a hard time filling orders because they have sold so much ammo lately. They are working diligently to restock but can’t keep it on the shelves or in the warehouses. Also their suppliers have raised prices, that is the only reason they have raised theirs. They are not gouging they just are charging more because it is costing more. They have not made any “global” changes to what they have been doing for years!!! Some store managers have taken it upon themselves to make changes to these rules, which they have the power to do, but Wal-Mart as a whole has not changed ANY of their ammo policies.

The gun issue…

Please try to use common sense people!!! Wal-Mart is a BUSINESS!! In business to MAKE MONEY!!! If they are selling things that make them money they aren’t just going to stop because some people don’t like it.
