It was the TV show Rescue Me. They had sensitivity training because one of the guys said "twat" in front of the chick firefighter.
Uh I'm not sure how to respond to that... go hit your head into a wall until the wall is dust... This is just another example, obviously you don't really see it, because you're fine, you're not a white guy that gets subjected to this crap all the time. Go put your head back in the sand if you can't see that this is just another one of these incidents furthering this crap. The fact that the guy even thought this would be acceptable is the point behind my comment. Jeez. And he tells me to get a grip when he can't even conceptualize what's going on... [Roll1]
That's right! Thanks! I loved that show!
Your crazy, tell me again how black culture is the exact same and has the same values that Asian culture or Hispanic culture or white culture has. They are all different and to deny that shows your ignorance. Just like everything else there is exceptions. Let me explain it to you another way since everybody get afraid when racial issues come up. People that grow up in cities, have different values then people who grow up on a farm.
Aaaaaaaaaand Pancho goes on the ignore list...
See these are the kinds of stories that make me worry. There's been plenty of bullpuckey spewed from the mouths of liberals here in CO for years, but it stopped at words. Now these asshats feel emboldened enough to start acting as if they have no fear or reprecussion. Is it because they don't believe there are consequences? Or is it because they have a fix on the game? Better go make another tin hat...my current one is getting worn out.
now, i wonder why there was an "acheivement gap" between the whites and rainbow children of color? Was it this principal's racist, pro-white agenda in setting the ciriculum that led to this "gap?"
I heard a letter written into a program the other day from an Asian man. He was wondering why white people here in the US seem to suffer from "white shame". He mentioned that in Japan there is no Japanese shame, no Mexican shame in Mexico, and no white shame in Europe. So why here? It's gone too far. I'm glad the parents said something. The only way people are going to stop seeing color is if they stop teaching this stuff to their kids. I'm glad I grew up in a very diverse community where we could mention our color without feeling bad.
Touché. His post rubbed me the the wrong way. I don't understand how people obsess over such ridiculous garbage. I'm sure we all agree that the principle is an idiot. The whole "They're out to get us!" schtick gets a bit old. Generally speaking, it's hard to characterize an entire race or group of people by the actions of a few.....or is Diane Feinstein suitable ambassador.
