Retaliation for Joe's actions against Syria?
Retaliation for Joe's actions against Syria?
Regardless of the facts, politician's already tweeting "this is our time" about gun control. The poor families were not even notified before these corrupt fools started "diagnosing" their "cure"...
Not to devalue the loss of life or to make humor of this event, but...

President Biden has already called for banning assault weapons and magazines closing the loop hole for background checks he’s pressing is very very hard right now and the guy is a total douche in my estimation.
I do have to wonder though - with all the gun sales over the last year, many going to non-gun owners who vote blue, will the needle move at all? Or is the EBR still the target of all of them.... Probably is, because logic is replaced with emotion, but still. maybe a small wild card. Of course Hope isn't a Strategy...
I just fear the Common Sense BS.
Regarding the gun used, this is a direct quote from the latest 9 news info. ? According to law enforcement databases, Alissa had purchased a Ruger AR-556 pistol on March 16, the affidavit says.?

Probably was not a straw purchase since they have a record of him buying it. If indeed that is the firearm used in the crime.
Does the killer's assault charge prevent him from firearms purchase? Sounds like he bought it last week.
We have two different bgcs in this state now, what is the point of them if this Syrian guy can buy a gun?
He moved here when he was 3 years old. He's hardly Syrian.
I wonder what the Syrian shooter would say to that
Typical - the media spreads hate, the political masters propagate differences between us, they break down this nations foundational values, they attack our nation, our police, our military, and our rights. Then they walk around making emotional news reports to feed their pockets. This can't be extreme Islam, that won't fit the narrative they want. ARs are BAD, they do bad things, we need to ban them to be safe because NOBODY should ever feel unsafe...
Meanwhile, Pelosi surrounds herself with military, and our political mushheads defund the police. No secret they'd like to have no local LEO.
Anyone think the Syrian shooter shot himself in the leg with the pistol he supposedly had? Mexican carry gone wrong?
Has PD said they actually fired at him? Account I read said they encountered him walking backwards to them in just the shorts.
It wasn't meant for analogy.
If you read the thread above, I knew and replied to suspect being born on age 3, and lived in US rest of his life.
BTW, as for some people who never held a passport and do not know how to distinguish NATIONALITY,
IF you have this, you are Syrian

IF you have this, you are an American (US citizen)

IF you have this, you are an Irish

If you have this, you can be NORTHERN IRISH. :D

There is no American culture. The American landscape is as diverse as the French Foreign Legion, if not more. We have a conglomerate of micro-cultures, from sea to shining sea. When I was in the Army I had nothing in common with someone from south Boston except we were both American citizens and both wore the same uniform. They might as well have been from Albania (and we had one of those too). I think I liked the Albanian more, actually. He wasn't a Yankee.
Melting pot ideology as it's commonly meant is retarded and has resulted in no culture at all for many 3rd generation+ citizens. I'm not for it, and it's a relatively recent revisionist bit of history. Otherwise, we wouldn't have things like Little Italy, Chinatown, etc. Rather, cultures should be encouraged to retain who and what they are and at the same time participate in a larger American milieu, which of itself lacks a definable culture. Those unique values, traits, experiences, etc., is truly where we can say "diversity is our strength," when those things truly bring strengthening value to the fore. Mere melanin variations are as worthless as different colors of the same flavor cake. Retention of culture, language, etc., is fine. It allowed our fighting men to call out to, and trick, enemy forces in perfect German since they were only one generation removed from having been wearing the enemy's uniform. It allows a movement beyond the homogeny of singular methods, perspectives, etc. But earlier generations were still cognizant of their Americanness.
But that's not what I saw on those FB pages before they were memory holed. On those pages, I saw people who wanted the homogeny of their culture with the benefit of America; effectively, not contributing their culture but retaining their culture. It's a very distinct difference from what past generations did.
Then again, past generations and immigrants had something, generally, to contribute. I'm not sure that the Middle East has anything to contribute besides test subjects for new war tech.
A gov issued piece of paper does not define your ideology or where you were born. The dude was Syrian and from the looks of his social media I saw before it got nuked he was anti American.
I don't care what his papers say, where is heart laid seems pretty obvious.
Very typical once the DNC media heard the name of the suspect, messaging went from likely white male, white supremacy, MAGA lover to stating they will not announce the suspect name and sole focus on the 'common since' gun control propaganda.
