Was at their new CD release party last night. A good local band. I guess the style is called alt-country. That means country that doesn't suck.

There are some amazing Alt-Country bands out there. Alt-Country is by far my favorite less than heavy genre.

I went to school to be an audio engineer (studio type) back when I thought I could make some money at it. I maintain I've got a talent for it, but I wasn't willing to starve long enough to prove it. The engineer on this track has great chops. Great sound. I enjoyed it.

I'm not sure why, but it made me want to listen to some Charlie Daniels.
