They park like that a lot in Europe, saw this a lot in Germany
Smart cars were designed to park like that, I remember some ad's when they showed this type of parking possibilities as a selling point of this washer sized car

What do you expect? Colorado people can't even fucking drive
2 things...
1: I'm glad I found this thread...It's like having a joke you can't remember when you see some dumbarse parking like they own the damn world in their POS Prius. And now there's someplace to honor these parking aficionado's
2: I'm glad I didn't see my car in there...of course I'm an excellent parker, so why would it be :)
Good point. You are probably spot on with that assumption. I'm from a small town in Iowa, back where people drive by and wave at you with their whole hand. Out here it seems like people only wave with the middle finger. The biggest pet peeve I have is that moron drivers out here will cut off 4 lanes of traffic to make their exit on the highway, rather than just say, "fuck it" and carefully get over, take the next exit and back track a couple of blocks. Of course majority of the time these jack-holes are missing their exit due to being on their cell phone or some other mundane distraction.
Near cars tend to park on the lines to avoid door dings.
Colorado has the largest concentration of bad/stupid/aggressive drivers that I have ever seen. Don't know where they came from.
If I was a betting sort, I'd say Berkeley, CA or Atlanta, GA, those are the only two places where they are more incompetent (Berkeley) or rude/aggressive (Atlanta), than they are in CO. Granted, not all of CO is equal: Boulder has a monopoly on the worst drivers in the state, bar none. Soccer-moms in their Range Rover, texting, while ignoring the fact that 4-way stops apply to everyone, including them, is rather sporting....it takes defensive driving to all new levels [Mad]
I lived right between San Diego and LA for 4 years. I lived in South Carolina, spent many months in Oklahoma, and Ive been to 13 countries in Southeast Asia and the Middle East. Socal drivers create pileups when it starts to rain, seriously. At least CO drivers can drive in the rain.
Parked my bike today, came back to this.

The "spot" to the right isn't really a spot - just dead space. I guess a motorcycle could fit in there.
Congratulations at being the only person, ever, at the casino to park between the lines.
Does anyone else have a bunch of these pictures on their phone that they have been too lazy to post?
Heh, some fool in a little 2wd sporty-type car did that right in front of me in heavy, semi-frozen slushy conditions on I-25 once. Tried shooting from the far left lane to take the Arapahoe exit at the last second.Quote:

Of course, he immediately lost control and spun out all over three lanes, I just barely missed him as he was spinning. I glanced out my side window and looked straight at his terror-stricken face as he was coming around on his 3rd or 4th rotation. The semi-truck behind me hit him so hard it smashed the whole ass end of his car into the back seat, and took the Kenworth out of commission as well. Real good thing there wasn't any passengers in his back seat, they would have bought it instantly.
Atlanta is a pretty bad place to drive and on top of it if you have to go over the speed limit heading out of the city or you are a traffic hazard but cops are everywhere so its like playing russian roulette with a speeding ticket. Florida is pretty bad too they are either all the way on the throttle or all the way on the brakes with no middle ground.
Ten or so years ago Colorado was not a bad place to drive. People seemed to drive aggressive and with a purpose but it was a lot less chaotic. Also people could drive in the snow and rain much better then they do now.

I don't know how anyone could even feel comfortable leaving their vehicle with it parked like that.
