Printed mine up, printed a batch for a friend, he wanted another stack for work and his co-workers. We'll have another 100 or so in the mail soon.

You guys rock!!
That's fine. This reason we're doing this is still certainly going to be here by Saturday... Get in touch with me when you're back and I'll give you as many as you want. It's a piece of cake to change the design, words, pictures, quotes, etc., so let me know if you want something different.
Does anyone know of a professional print shop that would be able to help us out with this? Right now the process of printing and cutting is painfully slow. If anyone has some time, could you update the word files with pre-addressed cards. I think we'll get more participation if all that's required is a stamp.
In the interim, I'm thinking of investing in a high speed printer. Do you guys have recommendations? I'm looking for something that prints two sided, is fast, and has affordable ink.
Kudos for all your hard work and effort, Cthulhu. I'm going by Bowers at lunch today to pick up a stack to redistribute amongst LGS we have not already approached such as BluCore and Castle Arms.
Have you removed the mis-attributed quote from the ones you are printing, or at least changed it to "unknown" or "anonymous?"
Thanks Teufelhund! I haven't changed the original that Honey Badger created. I've got an updated version (not addressed) that says "We should not forget that the spark which ignited the American Revolution was causedby the British attempt to confiscate the firearms of the colonists. - Patrick Henry". I replaced the AR-15 on the front with a Spartan helmet to save some ink. I'd like to get the new version updated so that they are pre-addressed but my day job is getting in the way. If anyone can help with this please let me know.
Cutting the paper into cards has been the most time consuming (and dangerous) part of the project. Anyone willing to help with this?
I can help cut them. If you want to drop off some uncut sheets at Bowers, I'll pick them up and use the paper-cutter at the office to make quick work of it. Thanks again for your hard work.
I uploaded both the pdf and the MS Word Document so if you want to share on another forum they do not have to register here to get them.

AWESOME. Thanks a bunch!
I have a $20 paper cutter from Walmart that has made the job pretty quick. My printer prints double sided about 1 sheet per minute (it pauses to allow the ink to dry halfway through) and I can cut 25 sheets into 100 postcards in about 5 mins.
What do you guys think about using something like this service to print our cards? It was around $50 to print 1000 so they can do it for less than I can.
So I was thinking that maybe modifying our strategy a bit might be worth examining. I love the postcards (obviously) but I was thinking of using a tactic right out out the "progressive" playbook. How about switching to pre-printed letters & envelopes? I believe that each letter gets a response doesn't it? The automated replies that you get via. email are too easy for them to just brush us off.
Rules for Radicals
Saul Alinsky
RULE 4: “Make the enemy live up to its own book of rules.” If the rule is that every letter gets a reply, send 30,000 letters. You can kill them with this because no one can possibly obey all of their own rules.
Just a thought.
Excellent point but so would the anti Second amendment sheep. It's not even a drop in the bucket compared to what they spend on all the waste. I'm just trying to figure out how to keep this going without going broke in the process. I've got about $200 sunk into the postcard campaign and I think I could print a lot more letters for a much lower cost.
I may have some contacts in the printing business, 2A friendly at that. Let me see what a quantity (10k+) might cost.
Is there any way we can get a list of people that you guys have sent out to on the first page? It'd be nice to make sure we are getting more people, but also to make sure we are getting the more important ones more than once. I'm looking to cut and address mine tonight.
Good news. I found a place to get ink cheap. Ordered 10 more so I should be back in business soon. That will let me do 5x more than I've already printed. About 6,000 give or take.
Here's what I could use help with. If anyone has time, please update the word file with names and addresses. The first page with the fronts can stay the same I just need the backs addressed. PM me if you can help please!
The UPS store by my work has told me twice that they don't have the post card stamps. They said they haven't sent them because prices are going up to .33 cents on the 27th.
Anyone and everyone you think should get a "love letter" Badger. I think Barry should defiantly receive a few as should Slow Joe since he's been appointed to save us from ourselves. I've got the face of the card so if you can just send me the backs with addresses that would be awesome. I've been printing them with a Spartan helmet vs. the AR in your original design to save on ink. Not as direct but I think it still gets the point across. If anyone has an idea for a different design or wants to send me a file with a new graphic please do so. Please keep in mind that larger graphics burn through ink and slow down the process. Thanks guys!!!
I want in on this. Mine will go to Florida, CO, and DC. How can I help?
Awesome! Sending as many postcards as you can afford is a great start. If you're up in Fort Collins you could distribute some cards to the gun shops up that way. I know it's a haul for you, but Bowers (I25 and Arapahoe) has some to distribute. Maybe we could work out a meeting between you and one of the folks down this way. If you want to start printing your own there should be several links to the different files on the thread so you can grab them and start the presses up north. I'm buying card-stock from Walmart and found a place on line that has inexpensive ink.
I talked to Rob at Bowers Tactical today and they still have plenty of cards if anyone needs them.
How are the other shops doing? Anyone need more? Just trying to gauge how many I need to print.
I need to get a new printer. Mine took a dump. I can't get down to Denver today, but maybe this weekend I'll pop by Bowers.
Here it is, wore it to work today.

From AR15News.com, but don't know if you can still get them. They have another version here: http://www.ar15news.com/ar15news-swag/
That looks like it came from Gadsden and Culpeper. One of my favorite t-shirt shops. [Beer]

Nice, I'll check them out! Mine has AR15News.com on the sleeve, under the flag. THese are some sick patches I must admit. Gonna grab a couple for my flight jackets: http://www.gadsdenandculpeper.com/al...r-patches.html
Got mine cut up with the wife's scrap booking slicer thingy. (wheel paper cutter)
I'll mail my set off and gave about 200 or more to friends who will distribute at work etc.
I still have a few hundred card stock sitting here if anyone wants some printed. (local)
I've got 1200 more of the front only. I can print them without addresses but if anyone has a pre-addressed version please let me know.
I still want those if you have them, I have been crazy busy as well but there is light at the end of the tunnel.
