Congrats OBC what'dya get?
Just an A 3 style upper from the manufacturer of the gun. It's not anything high end, BC, but I chose to keep factory parts on it.
I'm really more looking forward to the end result, this is just the first step.

Well, yeah, I'm looking forward to getting through these few steps to get the weapon more gooderer for me. Bert is going to have to do some stuff for me, but we'll get there.

What else do you need or plan on modding with it?
He's going to remove the front sight for me, and I / we need to figure out an open sight replacement program, at least I think that's important, and then move on to a scope purchase.
Get those things handled there, and I should be a happy camper with it.
You mean remove the standard front sight block and replace it with what, flip ups?

There's a reason the wif hands me her W2 as she walks out the door for work.
At least she offered to try to help pay this year. Kills me since I asked her to have extra withheld and not only did she not do that, she didn't let me know so I could have withheld more myself, and I now see she has Single 10 listed. WTF? So not only did she underwithold, she under-withheld more.
