I thanked her for trying and for being thoughtful. I was also very honest with her that I think I no longer will have a working optic mount.

Next, I called a buddy who has some sway, and he said no problems... He's got this.

I get a call from LaRue Tactical saying they heard I was in a pickle and to stop on by on my way to the comp.

Mark LaRue's personal assistant was waiting at the door with a mount that would address all my concerns. Here you go. No questions asked.

Saved. The. Effin. Day.

Now I'm just debating whether I should keep the jet-ski's or sell them.

On the one hand, they're handy to have if the (adult) kids want to join us at the lake and run them, and fun to mix it up without being stuck with only boats.

On the other hand, I hate to see them sit and not get used enough and keep losing value, and I hate to have to worry about them getting trashed by someone else.

I could pay for > half the boat if I dump the skis. Decisions, decisions. I will probably hang onto them this season and see how things pan out.

I think it depends on how much you use them, but I would sell the Jet skis. It's easy enough to rent a couple if you need to for a few hundred bucks, as opposed to losing thousands by holding on to them.

Mcjunior, you need to get your dick examined if you're banging anything that resembles a sasquatch. I hear they carry primordial disease and alien genetics...

After growing up in Michigan, the whole concept of boat ownership in Colorado baffles me.
