Not on NextDoor, but have been watching the new and actually read yesterday's Gazette (newspaper) where they indicated "authorities will really be stepping up enforcement of the fireworks ban this year".
Not really sure what/how they are enforcing the ban as I sit on my back porch while typing this it sounds like the entire city of Colo Spr is under a Red Dawn attack.

I think my entire neighborhood was launching bottle rockets from 30 round mags with binary triggers and bumpstocks -- or whatever the fireworks equivalent is.
It's still going.
I think most of the "violators" have DV plates and dogs, too. [ROFL1]
Yeah, there are some around here that are also not letting it go yet, even at this hour.
It was ~1:00AM here on the east side. I purposefully stayed up late to bask in the freedom (no point in trying to sleep) and no kids to worry about this year.
Intermittent rain/sprinkling helped with the fire risk. It was a good night to party. I'm sure I'll hear leftover tonight!
It didn't bother me since I didn't need to work today. I felt bad for my wife that did have to work.
I'm expecting an extended 4-day Independence weekend. 'Merica!
