I don't even have pictures of all my stuff yet...
I'm going to have a booth at the Douglas County Fair to sell stuff.
hello gentlemen
My Dad makes crosses out of oak and matchsticks and things, so I'm selling those along with jewelry. If I'm able to jump through the hoops with the county, there will also be jelly, jam and spice rubs.
Thanks to my exposure on this forum, I'll also be making paracord bracelets!
Hi, mcjhr!
my inner nerd is leaping for joy. :D
NOOOOOOOOO!
lol more nerdiness.
That thing is awesomely terrifyingly beautiful. I don't ever want to meet it in a dark alley. Or a bright alley. Or anywhere on earth ever.

I have a big ass 3XL Blaze Orange Red Head (Bass Pro Shops) jacket for sale too... If anyone wants it...

I wish I had a higher post count... Then maybe I'd have more street cred....
I need somewhere and someone to help me sight in my 308 tomorrow.... anyone?
Wish I could, but 1, i'm sleeping tomorrow and 2, i'm about 600miles away.
It's just like sighting in a 22. only more recoil and more expensive with each shot. He probably just needs a spotter to find his shots, right JM? Why not just setup at 25yds to really get on paper, then back it up to 50yds and then 100yds. Did that recently with a friends' 30-06. It was supposedly bore sighted to 100yds, but we couldn't get get him on paper at 50yds. Brought it in to 25 and bam, on target. Once we took him back out to 100yds he was getting submoa groupings.
Funny you should say that......
He's a stock broker. A very successful one.... Apparently, from a google search... His AVERAGE account.... AVERAGE.... Is $10,000,000. The dude is successful as all hell. Probably makes $100,000+ deals all the time...
He's actually impressed with my eBay stuff... He admires the hard work and determination to make money with it... I think that's some brownie points right there...
Well, I think motivation, creativity and learning process involved in turning nothing into something is very admirable. It's just one more way that you can show you're a provider as even if you lose your job, you can still make a living.
a thousand apologies......and lady :)
NOOB!!!! GIT EM!
Ah, gotcha. I usually just setup a target at 25yds for sighting in a 22 (though you can move it closer if you have iron sights or bad vision). I think you traditionally do 3 shots to see how the grouping develops, then you adjust the scope or iron sights. It can be a little tricky to understand how the scope moves, so its best to put the scope on a bench and looking through the scope, turn the turret one way continually (counting ticks) and rather fast until you see what it does to the crosshairs. Then, you attempt to move the crosshairs over the point of impact. It depends on what caliber you are sighting in too, because its silly to sight a 308 in at 25yds. If you'll be shooting the 22 primarily at 25-50yds, then zero it at either one and you'll be golden.
also spiders are cool. i got 2 tarantulas....easy to take care of but not very entertaining.
