I haven't dealt directly with provident, but I bought provident rounds through another supplier. Cash price and sending a check is the way to go for me.

I will chime in here....Never had a problem with Provident over several transactions. I do the same as HB check and wait. I also do the same with JMBullion....same there no problems.
Another dip below $19.50 this morning.
Meanwhile, food costs continue to rise. Are you buying canned food in bulk when it is on sale to make up for the reduced amount of food you'll be able to afford in the future?
Oil dipped below $96 this morning too, kinda funny that oil would go down in the face of ISIL, Hamas/Israel and Ukraine/Russia events.
I don't think ISIL selling oil is impacting the market, the Sauds could easyily undercut them, I could be wrong though. The last I heard ISIL was sabotaging the pipelines and ISIL does not have the expertise to fix them, especially this quickly. ISIL is probably murdering all the oil field guys anyway.
I know that I am new to the thread, but what are your thoughts on Silver Eagles vs. other less known rounds?
I bought some Eagles privately, but have been given recommendations to stick with eagles, as they will be much easier to sell if/when needed(less easy to fake, more recognizable).
Am I being too picky/protective?
Do any of you buy privately? How do you verify other rounds?
All of mine have been individual purchase. I take my time and research ahead of time how to spot the fakes but the price I paid reflects the added risk and time.
Just an aside, oil lost $1.93 today, down to $94.57.
