Not sure but I am guessing I am headed to the range Friday to repair steel.

Thanks, pal.

Seriously, the aforementioned 44's are mid range Unique loads, just a wee bit stronger than our .45's. If he brings the heaters, we'll shoot paper.
DAM Hoser!! So it looks like your the man when it comes to Dillon machines so if you don't mind I have a question. I am having an issue getting the same OAL with my new XL 650. What is considerd to be an acceptable variance? For example if I am loading for an OAL of 1.125 and the rounds range from 1.122 to 1.128 is that ok? My thought is since I set it up as 1.125 every one should be with in .005. I do have the billet tool heads and I used a kit from Unique tech to bolt them in place instead of just using the pins to keep the tool head in place. FYI I am a newbie loader.
Kazoo paints all his stuff blue and thinks it's Dillon, don't listen to him.
Ooh!, bad day, sorry Kazoo!
I loaded up some .308 blaster ammo. You never know when the zombies are going to crest the hill.
[QUOTE=Great-Kazoo;1839017]Not hoser, But the oal of your bullets will give you variation in your completed round. Measure a few of those bullets. It drove me crazy when i started out. There's a few discussions regarding OAL and other quirks in somewhere within this forum.
Thanks Kazoo, I will look around for that info. Tight end up the shell plate a little and will roll some more this weekend and try to not be so pickey. The bullets to vary a little.
haha!
[QUOTE=Slapps74;1839847]Being picky / anal, drove me to the point the first time around, I sold everything. 4.1gr TG. 3.9 - 4.2 IT HAS TO BE 4.1!!! Consistently. Now i let the music do the talking. Presses remind me of slot machines. Pull the handle DING, DING, DING. Brass & copper flow from the machine like candy from a pinata.
Loaded up a bunch of 243 with H-1000 and 115 DTACs and converted a bunch of 308 brass into 260 for a friend.
Started loading up 9mm test loads using a small amount of powder I had on hand to test out to see if I liked it. I actually bought more of the same powder before I got around to trying my sample. After loading my first ten rounds, and bumping up to the next powder charge, I cracked open the new container of the stuff I had bought, with the intention of pouring it right into the powder charger. Good thing I looked first, because they were NOT the same powder. Glad I caught it before I mixed the two powders, and only had 10 rounds to pull.
This is the sample that is supposed to be AA#7.

This is what was in both of the AA#7 bottles I picked up a while ago.

Hey Stirving, you gonna run CCP? Only 125 PF!
Oh I had no idea. I'll have to look it up.
Loaded up the last 245 pieces of 380 brass.
Stared at the ejector marks on my .223 brass and decided that it may be time to back it off a bit.
Ordered a Rebel 17 from STM via the iPad while in the reloading room. [emoji16]
Primed some more 223 and swore at the Lee primer setup.
Sigh, someday I will step up to a Dillon, someday.
All together now! "I told you so..."
It's a painful step. I don't know any different so I can't say I know your pain.
My STM Rebel 17 showed up about 6:30 tonight. By 7:15 had my first round of 45 in it. I can not believe how well this thing works!!!
Loaded up 18 lbs H335 and now I have buckets of .223[g3]
You underestimate the fortitude of the Yeti.
I guess! I don't even have that much brass! But I did only start reloading a month ago
My shop has a lot of shiny objects so it took a lot longer then that. But I love hanging out in my shop loading so today was a great day.
Loaded 100 rounds of match ammo yesterday. Headed out Saturday to confirm zero and true some data to at least 1,000 yards. Hope the wind stays fairly calm while gathering data.
Loaded up some .223 test loads with exterminator and a 55 gr pill. Cleaned the 1050 and then finished off with some9mm test loads
Cleaned some more brass. Case feeder on the 650 quit working so got that replaced and set up to load some 45 ACP 200 gn LSWC test loads.
Sorted 1K Berger 105's by bearing surface length, then prepped 200 pieces of 6X47L brass.
I walked in and decided the combination of jet lag and a cold was too much. Time for a nap.
Dood! Take it easy for a few days and get back on Mountain time. We won't chastise you for at least 48 hours.
Oh that's right... I'm good cop, Hoser is bad cop. Git 'em!
Spent an hour removing my first stuck case (partial rim separation) without a removal tool. Sacrificed a decapping rod/pin to get er done.
Ordered a removal tool and a new decapping rod and spare pins.
