If it makes you feel any better HB, my AR has carbine length gas system and I will admit it is annoying sometime, not so much the recoil, but the muzzle rise that takes a bit longer to get back on target.

Yep. The muzzle rise is really just annoying. I would like to be able to keep the target in sight when firing and not have to do a complete re-acquire after every shot.
