And for the record, I freaking HATE dealing with hospitals. Spoke to them on Monday, they said they'd ship my MRI scans up to CO for me so the doc that did my surgery in 2006 could look at them.
Called today to make sure they did that, and they're like "oh, no we never shipped those". "Well why not?". "Not sure, there's no record here about it".

So I had to mail the discs myself today, won't get there until Monday because USPS doesn't overnight things anymore and there isn't a reliable UPS Store in town (there's a private UPS store, but they don't have pick ups everyday and they're more likely to lose your package). The doc already got back to me and is waiting for the MRI scans.
On another note, workers comp is freaking slow at approving surgeries.
I saw the LaRue at a LGS and it followed me home. Those were the first shots out of it. Not gonna lie, it took a couple shots (6, actually) from a closer distance to get it on paper.
once it was on paper, though... Whoa!!
i had my nephew with me, so I couldn't really wring it out the way I wanted to. I'm really anxious to get out there and see what it can do at the longer distances.
I was actually amazed at how it got more and more accurate the hotter the barrel got. I shot 17 rounds out of it, and I didn't let it properly cool in between each shot or group. There is a point where the heat will affect the accuracy, and I didn't see it yet..
Thats definitely awesome!
Wish I had the money or patience to buy a Larue, I hear they shoot better than they look and they look pretty damn sexy!
Congrats! Any idea when your ordered from Larue rifle will arrive?

Unbelievable how much better the rain is for the grass and garden verses tap water. After the last rain, just about every pepper plant I have grew about 3 inches in 2 days. I don't even want to know what kind of chemicals the city is putting in our potable water.
