Count your blessings folks. My wife text'd me earlier they lost a little one today and nearly lost the mom. We always feel so bad for the families when this happens.

She will be a wreck tonight after she gets home. I was gonna run out and get her some flowers and make dinner, but now a damn client has me stuck on the phone.

She quit being a paramedic many years ago when she couldn't take the horrid things she saw done to children, both accidentally and purposely, but losing a little one at birth also tears her up.
