St George is 7 miles from the southern border, so pretty much everything is North of it. We stopped to meet a colleague in Richfield, and our waiter was wearing an empty owb holster on his belt. He said only about 3 people a night notice/comments on it, "usually it's the Democrats and they watch me closer all night. "
Richfield is bad like that? We were only the for an hour or so though. No wonder the waiter was semi-openly armed.
After thinking about it more, everything we saw along I-70 and I-15 was DRY. There were some rivers and streams, but you'd pretty much have to have running water or a well on site in order to thrive. I'd be a hot and dry existence or here without it.
It's 107 f'ing degrees here right now. I had to find a Big 5 to get Remoil wipes because my gun is sweating just from wearing it and driving around.
114 now. I'm gone one day and the neighbors are calling me and telling me about a dude knocking on my door, checking my mail, and looking in the windows.
Busy day here.
Changed the oil in the truck. Checked all the service items, fluids, etc. Rotated the tires. Aired them up for the big tow. Aired up the bags.
Changed the front pads. Sure am glad I got that done before the next trip. Pads were gonzo. Added those anti-drag spreaders. Never used them before so that took me a while to wrap my feeble mind around.
Had the Jetski's outside with a FOR SALE sign on them. Someone stopped and asked about them. Might be back with his buddy to take another look during the week.
Washed the car. Started to rain after I got the car all soaped up. Neighbors must think I'm nuts running the pressure washer in the rain but I wasn't going to let it sit with soap on it.
Washed and detailed the truck.
