Just got back from the western slope at brought back some Colorado wine. I was very impressed with some of the vineyards.
Drinkin' this tonight, watching the election numbers come in.

Happy birthday!
My wife likes to surprise me with beers I would never buy. That works for me because it broadens my horizons.
Tonight she brought home this, which is Tecate's version of Budweiser's Chilada. It's terrible. It taste like water with a small amount of raw tomato juice mixed in. No, it doesn't taste like light Mexican beer with raw tomato juice, it tastes like WATER with raw tomato juice.
Terrible. Pass.

Blech! [Puke]
Grew up going to the local stock shows. As a kid, on Sat. morning, all the cowboys would be in the be lined up at the beer stand. They all walkied away with a glass full of something red. Asked my Mother what they were drinking.
Mom- That's Red Eye.
Me- What's that?
Mom- That's what cowboys drink when they had too muck fun the night before.
To this day, when I go to a stock show, the first drink is always a Red Eye. The beer pourer has no clue what that is but they always have beer and tomato juice on the counter. I just point and say 1/2 of each.
Finally stopped by one of my favorite distilleries. Fun place. Could be dangerous if I lived next door.
