Sup zotches?
Hey GG, how's it hangin'?
Bwahaha, I KNEW I was going to get an answer like that but hoped you were too tired to be witty. [facepalm]
So get this. I tell my wife that I think that I'll go fishing in the morning. She's cool with that, as usual (damn good thing too...LOL).
Then she says, "Can I come with the baby?"
At first I'm thinking whaaaa? Then I tell her sure! That'll be cool as hell. I happen to be going to a local reservoir that has super easy access. No sweat getting the baby there in our 4X4 stroller. I just planned on a few hours on the water anyway, so this'll be a great morning.
My wife rocks!
Haha, awesome! And here I thought it was going to be a rant about wanting time AWAY from the spousal unit and then you have to make a big morning of it [LOL]
And, aren't ALL strollers 4x4? Or was that an attempt at humor? [Dunno]
I know, kind of a weird post in the thread with "hairymanass" and "sunburnyurmanparts" as tags......
True, but then again most of the posts in here are a little confusing.
My friend, either you have never had a baby, or you never leave the pavement. I figure that you are the former. Standard 6" wheeled strollers do not work well off road, or on any dirt surface for that matter. You need a rig like this:

OK, it's 3X3? Still bad ass.
Shiiiit, I didn't even KNOW they SOLD powered strollers! [LOL]
Nah, haven't had a kid. Timeline of 2 years out though, Fiancee and I are actually in debates about that now lol.
By the way, I like the holster/sidearm. I assume it stays securely mounted while offroading?
Yaah, I went through a few years of "debates" and "negotiation" too. My wife had 2 already, me...none. Eventually, I decided that I really wanted a kid. I was not about to do that if I didn't want to. But I did eventually, after a few years (or she wore me down...we'll never know).
And this stroller is not powered....except by me. It does have independent rear spring suspension, hand brakes, retractable sun visor, undercarriage storage, iPod input, dual beer (or other beverage) holders, adjustable steering wheel, and of course the optional pistol holster.
Bad Ass.
It's definitely a badass stroller, thats fo sho!
We're 27/28 and we're getting married in a few months, neither of us have had kids before. She had talked about kids a year or two ago, and insinuated that it would be the right timing immediately after our wedding. Now she's thinking she wants to wait something more like 2-3 years from now, but its because she wants my career to really take off (which it will, and I'll have more info in a few weeks so a very exciting time for us even if you ignore the 2 surgeries I'll be having in the next few months lol).
She's also getting into a new sport (fitness bikini competitions) and wants to compete before having a baby, so we'll see how things develop on that front.
Well, obviously, having a baby will severely cripple the opportunity for the "fitness bikini competitions". I'll refrain from the many jokes that can be made there. Believe me, having a baby changes most women forever. Not that it makes her ugly or repulsive or anything, but it does some...changes, to be kind. There will be no bikini competitions after a kid, unless your fiance is one of those remarkable women that bounce back like nothing ever happen. Rare.
Now, that being said, having a baby has been the most incredible thing of my freaking life. I'm 41 and my wife is 39. Basically, I had to decide to have one or not really soon. After we got married (4 years living together before that) I decided I was really ready.
Sleepless nights feeding her, catering to every problem, changing diapers. I love this girl more than anything in the freaking world. More than I thought I would.
Look, you didn't ask for advice, and I usually don't offer it unless someone does. But in my opinion, having a child shouldn't be made when "when we have the money", or "when I get to this or that position in my career" or "when we have a bigger house". If you and your wife are ready to have a child, then do it. Things will work out.
We had decided to "conceive" January 2012. It was a deliberate decision. Then I got laid off 6 months earlier than that. We agonized over the whole thing then said fuck it and went with it. Remarkably, nobody shriveled up and died. We made it just fine.
What the fuck am I doing here? Writing an autobiography? Ho's got to go!
Seriously? No other whores working it tonight? [facepalm]
I just went outside and the moon is like a freaking spotlight. I wish I was camping tonight.
Time to hont dog the cave and crash. :)
Guess its sensitive ho night tonight [LOL]
I agree, I don't think we should wait for when the time is right, because it never will be. Who knows, it may happen sooner than we expect it to and that would truly be a blessing. My Fiancee basically raised her niece, as her sister/husband lived in the same town too, only just moved away a year ago (she will be 4 in November). We skype with them at least once a week, and she always lights up my Fiancees face.
I honestly think its the fear of the unknown for her, and wondering what will happen and how we can raise the baby for the first few years and still both work. Her parents live right down the street from us (literally, its a 3min walk to their house) and they have commented about how they would always be there to help us out with anything. Which is exactly what they did for our niece. Not that I think we should dump our baby on the in-laws, but I hope you get what I'm trying to convey.
Anywho, she asked me tonight for a date that I'd want to have a baby in my arms. I kind of deflected, as she had a shitty day and wasn't really in the right frame of mind (horrible day with the battery, getting stranded, road rage, feeling sick, drama at work, etc), but I'm sure as the wedding gets closer we'll talk more about it and things might change.
Monday. Mow-nin Hoe's

Is OBC done with that midget yet?
a midget's work is never done
Whao. Just dragged my ass out of bed and it over 60* already. WC says we might hit 80 today. Gonna be a hot one.
Kind of like Dennis Leary's "I'm an Asshole" song...."I walk around in the summertime saying 'how about this heat?'...I'm an asshooooole".
Just had a couple of horses come by and visit for a few minutes. Sheriff says the owners have been looking for them for a while. Glad I could help them out and get them home.
the walmart by me got some 22lr in - it was gone in a heartbeat

Just woke up, 6 hours was not enough sleep. Oh well, woke up just in time for the rain to get here.
Called Doc office to verify they received MRI's and are handing them to my doc to interpret results and proceed further. Radiologist is out, so had to leave a message. I HATE leaving messages, I just want a freaking answer NOW!
Opened my box of 1k M193 bullets from Xtreme Bullets. Boxes were sliced opened, so I had to count to make sure they were all there. 1006 bullets accounted for. Whew, I was worried I didn't get a full 1k! Guess I can update my ammo cost by components spreadsheet now...[LOL]
