My dream Colorado constitutional amendment:

There shall be no law, ordinance or rule made or tax or fee levied that affects the acquisition, possession or disposal of any firearm, ammunition feeding device, ammunition or any parts thereof.

No, vote by the people is not how it's supposed to be. The US is a representative democracy, not a true democracy.

I'm sure we would get great voter turn out every week when new laws or changes were purposed. We wouldn't have a "government" if every law was put to the people.

And we would be locally outvoted by the liberal population center of Denver/Boulder on every vote.
We would be nationally outvoted by the liberal population centers of New York and LA on every vote.
Not a good idea.
Fortunately, the framers of our Constitution were pretty smart and thought these things through.

Pueblo has us very excited, but Colorado Springs recall should be a wake up call that our GOTV efforts were weak.
