So, back on topic, what exactly, is racist about the NRA? There seemed to be a whole lot of surmising about the racist motives of the NRA, but nothing other than it's an organization that seeks to keep white folks armed to protect them from black folk. Is that the gist of the problem?
One of the great ironies of our time. The organizations that attempt to help minorities the most are the organizations the minorities see most often as the enemy. And the truly racist organizations and those that work hard to keep minorities "down" are hailed as heroes by those minorities.
I've never heard of that YouTube channel. Now that I have I know what to not watch. As a black person to me it was slightly comedic to me as well as saddening, offensive and stereotypical. I own guns (im not part of the NRA but I don't dislike them), I swim(grew up in Hawaii on the beach), I camp, hunt.
Someone did post that it creates a discussion. That's about all this series is good for.
I have not followed this thread until today. Didn't see the deleted post but I'm betting the poster was from FL. Good to see he was shown the door.
As far as the NRA being racist, "marginalize and vilify" seems to be the standard practice.
That's truly unfortunate that anyone feels that way. That's all I'm going to say.
