I'd love to see them, a platform in the back for gear or camping has been on my mind as well. The weight savings from removing the rear seats and possibly some of the trim should offset the weight of any platform I install.

I replaced the rear door netting with a Greyman Tactical MOLLE panel.

The platform accommodates all my cookware and tools on the trail/road for multi-day trips. I got some cheap cargo nets from Walmart and strung them to the ceiling. I will be going with a tighter ceiling net moving forward as opposed to bungee style, however.

And once at camp, after pulling the cookware, I just fold the front passenger seat and deploy the head extension for sleeping.

On my second one, bought one in 08, then traded it for a newer model before Toyota stopped making them...
