Has the surgery happened or at least scheduled?
We are going to call tomorrow (Monday) to schedule the surgery. Our preferred vet at Hermosa is there on Friday, so that's hopefully when we'll schedule the surgery for. He said she should be ok until then, but of course if she takes a turn for the worse, definitely get her in ASAP.
I just posted the link and story into the Pets section of CL. Hopefully we can get some more exposure.

We are almost to our goal! Thank you all to those who have donated and shared this page to their networks. We will leave the fundraiser open until the day of her surgery, which will most likely be Friday.

Why wait until Friday? I'd get that dog in ASAP. I hope it goes well. I had to put my GSD down Saturday night.

EDIT: newracer, if the vet knocks any of the surgery cost off our price tag, do you need any of the money for expenses relating to your GSD? We would like to pay it forward to you.
