I checked in with him earlier when Rob was still enroute. I'd head that way now but I don't know the area over there at all and I don't really have any gear to be helpful.

You can make a winch out of rope and logs, but I doubt Chris is wanting to sit around and watch Youtube videos about it.
tmleader,
I just saw this post, i do have equipment and gear, running a full size rig though. can i get in there with my 3/4 long bed, i do have lockers and recovery gear. did you come in off the georgetown sideor off 352? i pulled the sat photos of your position,
Tie onto vehicle, then tie other end off to a solid anchor. Take large log like a 4-8 in diameter and 5' long and pul in middle of the rope and twist to create tension and a full turn should move truck about an inch once tight. Sucks if your by yourself and you let go of the log.
carl,
i am willing to go in and get him although it would be stupid to go in by myself at night,, up for a road trip? I am fairly certain we can get him out or at least get close enough to give him a ride home... i know the area fairly well, i can see the trail he is on on sat
that's cool... if they cant get you out i have a fully equipped setup, happy to go back in with you tomorrow and get her out, used to spend my life on the trail, i have lots of experience,
will have a new dedicated trail rig out of the shop this next month or two, would love to do a little wheeling again...
Sitting at work right now watching all of this excitement. Glad to hear that you're rescuers have arrived. Holler if you need anything else.

Let me know if another set of hands are needed tomorrow afternoon....
Give your little girl an ice cream tomorrow.
