The man has never sat on 'the bench' in his life. Being the head of the executive branch doesn't come even close to qualifying a person to serve as a judge... At any level.

But Supreme Court nominations can't procede without confirmation by the Senate. Both of Obamas nominees, Kagan and Sotomayor, were confirmed by a Democrat controlled Senate.

Being a community organizer didn't come even close to qualifying him for the US Senate, much less Presidency. What's your point? Since when have the Clintons ever cared about what was right?

True but the current crop of GOP occupants gives me no hope that they would turn down another Kagan or Sotomayor, they'll just roll over and let The Bern get his way.

This also assumes the GOP keeps control of the Senate ... I don't think its mathematically possible for the Dems to take back the house this year, but the Senate is not 100% secure.
