We had 2 inch hail at the shop here in Golden. Broke the windshield in in pickup (needed one anyway), blew a 4 inch hole in the dual layer skylight in the shop Beat up my bike and some damage to a couple of customer bikes, broke one window on the motorhome, trashed the roof vent and refrigerator vent cover on the motorhome. Someone in a FB group I'm in was supposed to pick up their new RV from Windish tomorrow... both their trade and their new one got pummeled. I just got mine back from the damage last July, hope we don't get a similar storm down here in the Springs. Can't imagine fixing everything again.Quote:

Wow. We only had gravel-sized hail, but it was coming down so hard on the skylight that I couldn't hear the customer service person on the other end of the phone.
It knocked lots of leaves down, but I had listened to the weather liars and moved my strawberries up on the porch, so didn't lose any plants.

Well, crap. The new roof didn't hold up as well as I thought - I just didn't know what to look for. It's trashed. I get to pay my deductible twice within 6 months.
