I only know rumors. The FFL is still active. That is all I know for fact.
From what I understand from a buddy is that the owner looked at the state of the market and realized that it could be many months before he could get a reliable resupply of guns. With that in mind, he made the decision that it didnt make sense to keep a store open with employees just to sell accessories. So, he decided to shut the doors and sell what was left of his stock online.
That is what I've heard. I can't vouch for the accuracy, but it sounds plausible.
As of this evening, two signs are posted on the screen door.
The first sign (hand-printed) reads:
WE ARE TEMPORARILY
CLOSED
SORRY FOR THE INCONVENIENCE
PLEASE GO TO
BRAVOARMS.COM
AND/OR
FACEBOOK.COM/ <something>
(BRAVOARMS)
The second sign (printed on a computer) reads:
NOTICE!
BRAVO ARMS WILL BE HAVING A
LIQUIDATION SALE ON
FEBRUARY 9TH AND 10TH.
DOORS OPEN AT 8AM AND CLOSE AT 6PM
BOTH DAYS.
ALL SALES WILL BE IN CASH, IN FULL, AND
FINAL.
WE WILL HAVE A FULL SELECTION OF GUNS,
AMMUNITION, AND ACCESSORIES.
WE LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING YOU THEN
AND APOLOGIZE FOR OUR RECENT
UNAVAILABILITY
The opening time of "8" is written in Sharpie; it could be 9, instead.

Bummer, it was always cool walking down into their shop filled with gun goodness :(

We apologize for going AWOL on everyone recently and our lack of communication hasn't helped. However, we have been trying to catch up with a lot of incoming and outgoing inventory and had to make a big decision on what the future will look like for Bravo Arms. As of right now, we are having a weekend opening on FEBRUARY 9th and 10th from 8am to 6pm both days. We are expecting a big weekend and hope everyone can find what they are looking for as we will have a very large selection of assault rifles, handguns, rifles, ammunition, and accessories. Following this weekend we will have the remainder of our inventory and a few new things available through our website and a website dealer (which is TBD). If you would like to contact us through the contact tab or messages on Facebook, we will respond as quickly as possible; however, even if we do have an item, it is first come, first serve. There will be no holds placed and all sales must be done in CASH, in full, and they will be final. (Please don't forget to bring cash!) We hope you can join us FEBRUARY 9th and 10th. Thank you for your support over the years and we look forward to continue our business with all of you.
The feedback has not been positive on there. They will be clearing out their inventory at "prices equal to their competitors," cash only, two days only. But they will have a bunch of AR's if you have to have them.
Sad to see.
I wonder if their business would have done better with a different location? Surely the rent was very low there, but there is a trade off when you're invisible to potential customers.
Prices were similar or better than the other local shops, selection was well planned towards their intended market, and the people were great.
Bummer
For me, the customer service there is what kept me going back. Sad to see them close their doors.
I was hunting for this place today (never saw this thread). Found it, slowed down in front and realized if i parked anywhere near there my car would've been gone when i came out. Place looked like it's been closed for a while even if it hasn't been.
