For me it's not heights so much as it is edges. I'm fine in a plane or at the top of the sears tower, but you make me climb on the fire escape of a 12 story building I'd be unhappy.
My old job was inventorying cell sites and urban areas most are on top of buildings. Several times I found myself perched up in some precarious places.
