I've always wanted a ridiculously unnecessary (for my uses) bright light, the RC40 could fit the bill, that thing looks legit.

I have to comment here, because I commented on my own thread also. I know people hate ebay, but I just picked up a NIB Surefire 6P for $40 shipped. The original 65 lumen incandescent bulb isn't much light, but considering that there are 1000 lumen replacement lamps for $13 shipped with a supposed 1.5 hr run time, the total price isn't bad, and like I'm trying to point out, it's a Surefire.
Well I'm adding 2 of them to my order, PM me if you want one (or another Fenix brand flashlight since I can get most of them).
A friend on mine gives very high praise to Fenix flashlights. He is a mechanic so i know it is used and mishandled daily.
Love my TA21..
Uses the 18650's so I own two of those.. keep one on the charger one in the light .. and a spare set of cr123's just incase I somehow don't charge both bat's..
the 18650's last mad longer then cr123's ( well with the 3000mah one's I have)
I'd buy another fenix if I ever mange to break this one.. I dropped it.. thrown it .. used while making an unruly bar patron find his way out the door ( those "tactical" serrations really do work ... ) ... camping .. toured the country with it 3 times on rock tours dropped it once from about 20 feet to wood flooring other then dings and scrapes works just fine.
I had a buddies act up like this and the switch was just coming loose inside ..
pop the tail cap off and you can see the plate for the switch just tighten it up a bit and it should fix it .. they were left hand threads if I recall correctly .. ( yeah you are supposed to use the proper spanner wrench.. I used a set of fine needle noses to do it )
