I feel the same way. Should be win by default. Your competitor quit therefore he loses which means you win. Seems simple to me. Show would have had a pretty lame needing though and that's the whole reason for the protocol. To make more interesting TV.

This wasn't simply a bad day, this was his own doing. His repeated actions show a much deeper character flaw than simply having a bad day. He deserves the derision I and others have given him.

Your argument seems to be that because I haven't walked a mile in Jake's shoes I am in no position to judge him. I simply point out that I know plenty of folk that HAVE walked that mile and that their opinion would be the same as mine.

Jake....so this is the kind of "soldier" the US gov is turning out these days huh? What a total joke and headcase the dude is. It's too bad guys like him even exist, to tarnish the unit he's associated with.

As good as a guy that Mike seems to be, I would find myself a little pissed if I was the other shooter that Jake DQ'd himself against. Jake quit, he lost, end of elimination imo. He earned the chance to go against Jake, not someone that had already been eliminated.
