Man, I can't believe I've missed posting here. Well I'm an old guy so....

Can't find my D-cell flashlight, damn! The concession to modern times is the ammo though I will admit I need to get a longer cord on a reel for the phone. Getting harder and harder to find places to plug it in though I don't talk while driving. [ROFL1]
Thanks, 1979 66-1, pinned & recessed, old duty gun a friend bought new. Made me an offer I couldn’t refuse lol.
I was just thinking about the difference in my very first touch screen phone compared to the phone I have now.
I was thinking how cool .40 s&w USED to be. Otherwise mostly similar.
It was brought to my attention that this thread was nearly a decade and since I was the one who kicked it off I thought it only fitting that I attempt to recreate the original pic. Since we still live in the same house I was able to locate the same substrate although I didn't make much effort to get the exact same spot on said substrate or painstaking effort to get all of the items back in the exact same spot. I did notice that I carry a lot less BS now and two items have remained the the same: my wedding ring and Blistex. One can only conclude that I do a great job of keeping my lips moisturized in order to kiss ass well enough to keep my wife! lol
I also discovered that in 10 years it's now very difficult to take a picture of your smart phone. The original photos were long enough ago that I still had a Canon Elph that I used regularly standing by to take the photo of the Droid. Luckily I was able to locate the same camera that took those photos and was happy that, after a charge session, it worked! Man does it take some crappy pics though compared to today's smartphones. I kept wanting to touch the display to tell it where to focus. Nope! "You'll like where I've decided to focus for you!" -Canon

Magpul Tejas "El Original" Gun Belt in Chocolate Color (much smaller size this go 'round)
Glock 43 bone stock other than TLR6
Kydex Holster IWB/OWB (IWB config currently) from www.ColoradoHolster.com
Benchmade Infidel Limited Edition #'d 10th Anniversary
Google Pixel 2 XL
LG Watch Urbane 2nd Edition (w/Tag Connected Face currently)
Fisher Space Pen Bullet, Chrome Finish
Diamond Wedding Ring (still the only "bling" I own)
Medic Alert bracelet thingy due to being ticking time bomb now
Oakley Titanium Crosshair Aviator sunglasses
El Cheapo wallet from Amazon
Truck key w/alarm & remote start fob
Blistex
The time saved with a DA OTF allows me to apply Blistex more frequently which may or may not have directly affected me being able to keep such an awesome wife. You say it's an issue of laziness but I saw it's buying me seconds of my life at an affordable price.
Does anyone still carry the Dillo?
Blistex and wedding ring didn't change. Looks like you lightened the load a bit, Jer.
I envy your keys. I feel like a janitor. I have two "fobs" on my key ring and neither of them even work.
Maybe someone should start a "What kind of shoes do you wear every day" thread.
Guess I'll play again. That flash light doesn't work right now either, which is a bummer as it's the best light I've ever owned. I need to send that back. The stupid USB charge port broke.

I have a Big Skinny like that in leather. For as thin as it is, it holds a lot of cards and isn't showing any signs of breaking down. If it ever does wear out, I'll likely buy another.
I love this thing. I don't remember under what circumstances I handed someone my entire wallet (think it must have been my wife) but when they handed it back they had it folded up all small like a quad-fold.
Quad-fold. That's hillarious. [Coffee]
I don't think mine has enough flex to do that.
Ok, here's my more serious response. Generally a 1911 of some kind (during warmer months a smaller one like this SA RO Elite Compact), extra mag, Benchmade knife, paracord and cell. Didn't feel I needed to add my wallet or keys since we all tend to have those on us. Flashlight, some type of Surefire, is in my truck or in the bike's side bags.

So let's talk about wear and tear. Saw someone mention a knife clip wearing out a seat in another thread. Let's see some pictures of your carry side driver seat. That flashlight in my photos has started/already worn holes in my relatively new pants. How are people's belts holding up?
Minimal.
I had my vehicles for over 5 years, and the leather looks fine where my knife clip usually is at.
One big factor I got to address is that i tuck my shirt out.

I am planning to do a light load and normal load setup.
Seems to be that olight have a flashlight which are about size of a thumb.
Planning to make smaller adjustments on:
1. OC
2. Flashlight
3. 1 Mag pouch or no mag pouch.
4. 1 knife
Waiting to see if ins co approves update.

I don't notice any additional wear and tear from my knife clip or anything else. Once in a while my flashlight turns on and gets my pocket a little warmer than I'd like though.
Dang ol flashlight ruins all my pants.

I wont take a pic, but at work; it comes down to a knife, lighter, and a G26 on my ankle.
The rest is 20 yards away in my truck.
My philosophy is avoid crowds, and everything must be a means to get to a rifle. If in "crowd", have rifle.
