the wifes' "small remodeling project" is freakin killing me....

it's all started with "I want a new faucet in bathroom", and yesturday I had to spend my "gun money" to buy a new tile and bathtub.... and this is just the begining....
today we're buyin new hardwood floor. someone please shoot me!

I have a few interviews coming up but no dice yet. Same problem everywhere... nobody wants to hire a guy that'll only be around for 4 months, they want someone that'll stay and earn their money back that they spend hiring, paying, and training. I've heard it takes about 6 months for an employee to earn the money back that a company spends hiring them.
I've just been working odd jobs here and there. I was at my now-ex's parent's all day getting rid of weeds... the front, the driveway, around the house, the backyard area, the pastures... I'm more sore now than I was when I moved all that hay for em lol.

Not yet, I've been working a bunch of odd jobs lately and just haven't had the time.
But good news... apparently my buddy who's a manager at this place literally 1/4 mile down the road from me told the other manager (the one that can hire people... buddy can't yet) "Hey, hire this guy." So they called me today and said come in for an interview and gave me the job.
Now the bad news... my buddy is obviously my buddy, and one of the other guys seems chill, but my supervisor is a tool and the other manager is a douche, and everybody else that works there is an annoying whiney female or a bitchy girly wannabe guy that ain't earned his man card, and it seems like the place is full of drama and gossip. At least now I have a source of income and can find somewhere I won't hate working... or if I don't, I only have to put up with this for 4 months till I ship out.
In short... yay I have a job.
