Enjoy those days, Irving. After my shoulder surgery last year 7/31...my work anniversary happened, and I got reloaded with three weeks of vaca and never took 'em. Right now I'm cashing them out and getting two paychecks a week for three consecutive weeks. I need the money right now, but the time would have been nice.

BC, I know you're working hard bro....you know I respect what you do for a living, I have a lot of interest in your field. I know you'll get an awesome telescope operating at optimum capacity. :)

I modded up a steel plate to help reenforce my cheesy "security" gate here at the new pad. It's a little chicken dick-ish, but it's an improvement. I dont have the time or money to install a 1/4 thick steel 4x4 set in concrete, the way it needs to be done......right now. It's a quick fix, but suitable for now.

Paint is drying on it now, flip it and get the other side.....dry......and get it installed today.

No need to get fancy with a huge square steel tubing, just get a 4x4 piece of wood, round off the corners, sand all the sides down to flat and then spray paint it to look like steel... If it looks like steel, it's probably steel. Most thieves aren't smart [LOL].

Did they give you a lower or just the upper to test out on one of your lowers?

Mod installed....it's very functional and serves the purpose.

Now, stereo gear OTOH... I still don't know where that spare Yamaha C-4 pre-amp ran off to. I had 4 at one time, parted one out, recapped and sold one to a friend (board member here), and was planning to keep two for myself. One is still torn apart and recapped but has a hum issue to fix, the other??? Gone. Can Not Find. I must have sold it or loaned it out and forgot to whom.

So cat, what ever happened to the libby brunette down the street?
