That's great idea HB. You have any other good ideas? I'm TERRIBLE at doing sweet things for my wife. I can use all the help I can get.
OBC, the run was pretty good. Shorter than I like, but a better pace than usual. Also, it was the longest I've done with the dog. She couldn't keep up after a while and I had to lift her into the car when we were done. Hell, it was only 2.3 miles.
Every once in a while, (especially good when the wife is away from home) buy a small bouquet of flowers from King Supers or Safeway (Safeway usually has much higher quality flowers for about the same price). Put the flowers in a vase somewhere where she'll see them right as she walks in the door. It might help if you do some of her usual chores too. I like to vacuum the house (it's easy and just takes a few minutes... and it's impossible to screw up) because she'll notice it right away.
I had one of Mrs. HB's friends give me the best tip of all: get on pintrest. There are pages full of ideas that girls sit around wishing for all day long.
